Hello and welcome to Scaffold2Success (S2S).
My name is Professor Christopher Omira.
I am a healthcare professional, nurse educator, mentor, and lifelong learner
dedicated to helping students and professionals achieve academic, personal, and career success.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
(BScN), a Master of Nursing (MN), and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
Throughout my career, I have served in nursing practice, leadership, education,
and research, helping learners develop the knowledge, confidence, skills, and
mindset needed to succeed.
Through Scaffold2Success, I continue my
commitment to teaching, mentoring, coaching, and empowering others through
expert tutoring, professional guidance, and structured support.
WHY I CREATED SCAFFOLD2SUCCESS
My parents never attended school, but through the generosity of others, I was given the opportunity to pursue an education—an opportunity that transformed my life.
Today, as a nursing professor and founder of Scaffold2Success (S2S), I am committed to paying that support forward. Inspired by years of teaching, mentoring, and guiding students and professionals, I created S2S to help individuals achieve their goals through effective scaffolding, expert tutoring, empowering mentorship, and professional development.
At S2S, we believe that success is intentional and achievable when people are provided with the right support, encouragement, and opportunities to grow.

MY TEACHING JOURNEY
Teaching has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching and supporting thousands of students throughout their educational journeys. These experiences have strengthened my belief that every learner can succeed when provided with effective support, guidance, and opportunities to grow.

Mentorship has always been central to my
professional philosophy.Throughout my career, I have mentored students, novice nurses, healthcare professionals, and emerging leaders, helping them build confidence, develop professionally, and achieve their goals. From Struggle to Success- The Power of a Helping Hand
"I grew up in a family where neither of my parents had the opportunity to attend school. As a young boy in Kenya, I was expected to help care for animals and support the family. Yet I believed education could change my future and that of my family. So, I decided to go to school despite the challenges . Through determination, hard work, and the generosity of individuals who believed in me, I was able to continue my education. Years later, that journey led me to Canada, where I became a Registered Nurse, earned advanced degrees, and eventually became a Professor of Nursing. Scaffold2Success was created to give others the same kind of support, encouragement, and guidance that helped me achieve my goals. My story is proof that with the right scaffold, success is possible."
